Broward Aviation Services Acquires Boeing 737 NG from AerCap for Disassembly

Broward Aviation Services (BAS) has acquired a Boeing 737 NG (MSN 32798) airframe from AerCap, marking another significant move in the aviation parts market. The aircraft, formerly operated by t’way Air, will be disassembled at AerCap’s Materials facility in Mississippi, with the process expected to be completed by mid-February.

BAS President Dennis Amaty stated that around 800 high-value parts will be harvested, repaired, and stocked across the company’s facilities in the US and Shannon, Ireland, strengthening MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support services. This acquisition aligns with BAS's strategy of expanding its B737NG parts inventory, with a total stock valuation exceeding $60 million.
