Aviation Capital Group (ACG) Announces Delivery of One Boeing 737-8 MAX to Neos

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has successfully delivered a Boeing 737-8 MAX to Neos, marking the second of three aircraft scheduled to be delivered from ACG’s order book with Boeing. This latest addition strengthens Neos’ fleet modernisation efforts and aligns with the airline’s strategy to operate more fuel-efficient aircraft.

 

FedEx Orders 10 ATR 72-600F Aircraft

FedEx Corp, the world’s largest express transportation provider, has placed an order for 10 ATR 72-600F aircraft. This order builds upon a previous commitment of 30 aircraft, with deliveries scheduled between 2027 and 2029. The ATR 72-600F, designed specifically for cargo operations, offers greater reliability and efficiency compared to passenger-to-freighter conversions. ATR’s Senior Vice-President Commercial, Alexis Vidal, emphasized that FedEx’s trust in the aircraft underscores its performance, versatility, and long-term operational advantages.

 

Malaysia Aviation Group Announces Order for up to 60 Boeing 737 MAX Jets

Malaysia Aviation Group has confirmed an order for 18 Boeing 737-8 and 12 Boeing 737-10 aircraft, with options to expand its fleet to 60 aircraft. The order, booked in January 2025, was previously listed as unidentified on Boeing’s orders and deliveries website. The new aircraft will allow Malaysia Airlines to introduce new lie-flat seating and cater to the rising demand for travel in Southeast Asia. Boeing’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing, Brad McMullen, highlighted that the fleet modernisation will enhance operational efficiency while reducing fuel consumption and emissions by 20%.

 

Steven Udvar-Házy to Retire from Air Lease Corporation

Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has announced that Executive Chairman Steven Udvar-Házy will retire on May 2, 2025, following the company’s annual meeting of stockholders. He will continue to serve as Non-Executive Chairman until 2026. Udvar-Házy, who founded ALC in 2010 and previously served as CEO, played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s aircraft portfolio to over $32 billion in assets.
