AerCap adds Airlink (SA) as new customer

ACIA Aero Leasing appoints CFO

ACIA Aero Leasing announced today the appointment of Grant Tolson as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will take the lead of s financial initiatives, supporting ongoing efforts to expand the scale and reach of its platform. ACIA Aero Leasing CEO Mick Mooney, said “Grant brings a wealth of experience, notably in terms of capital management and complex transactions, as well as strategic acumen and deep knowledge of the financial markets, which will be of great benefit to ACIA as we continue to expand globally."

AerCap Announces Airlink (SA) as new customer

AerCap announced lease placements with Airlink for three used Embraer E195-E1 aircraft. The first aircraft was delivered in March, while the second and third aircraft are scheduled for delivery in July 2023.  AerCap Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Peter Anderson said "We are very pleased to welcome Airlink as a new customer to AerCap with the lease of three E195 aircraft. We wish all the team at Airlink every success and look forward to working with them for many years to come."
 

Avolon Supports Salamair Fleet Expansion

Dublin based lessor Avolon has announced a firm commitment to lease three Airbus A330neo aircraft to SalamAir. A letter of intent (LOI) was signed at the Paris Air Show and the first delivery is expected in October 2023. Avolon President & Chief Commercial Officer Paul Geaney, said “We are delighted to welcome SalamAir as a new customer, bringing the fuel-efficiency benefits of the A330neo to another airline. Since their launch, SalamAir’s low-cost model has proven a great success, and these new aircraft will support their plans to offer their growing number of passengers greater capacity and comfort. The expansion of aviation traffic in the Middle East is set to continue and the region is a focus for further leasing opportunities for Avolon.”
 

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) leases new Airbus 220-300s to TAAG

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced that it has executed lease agreements for two new Airbus 220-300s with TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola (TAAG). President & CEO of NAC Norman C.T. Liu said “We are pleased to welcome TAAG as a new customer to NAC. These aircraft also represent our first two placements from our A220 orderbook with Airbus.”
