Aergo Capital Announces easyJet Airbus A319 Lease Extensions
Aergo Capital announced the successful completion of lease extension agreements for ten Airbus A319-100 aircraft with easyJet. Aergo CEO Fred Brown commented “We are delighted to confirm the lease extension agreements of ten A319 aircraft with easyJet. IAT Leasing announces acquisition of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft
IAT Leasing announced it completed the acquisition of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft subject to lease with Hawaiian Airlines from ORIX Aviation. The aircraft, bearing manufacturers serial numbers 1404 and 1389, were acquired on behalf of funds managed by Atalaya Capital Management. IAT CEO Martin Browne, stated “IAT are delighted to have closed this deal, our first transaction with Atalaya. We look forward to building upon this successful partnership in the future. We are also pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with ORIX Aviation and are grateful for their professionalism and collaborative approach.”
ReGEN acquires Airbus A319 aircraft
ReGEN part of the Genesis group announced the acquisition of ReGEN’s first on-lease aircraft, an IAE powered A319-100 and welcomes British Airways as its’ first aircraft leasing customer. Genesis CEO Karl Griffin stated “We are privileged to welcome British Airways as ReGEN’s first aircraft leasing customer. Genesis established ReGEN in 2023 to support the developing global aerospace supply chain challenges while enhancing our service offering to the world’s airline customer community across the complete life-cycle of commercial aircraft, engine and components. Today we have taken the next step forward with ReGEN by acquiring this on lease aircraft which ensures ReGEN will have a dependable pipeline of equipment well into the future.”
SMBC Aviation Capital orders 42 Airbus A320neo family aircraft
SMBC Aviation Capital announced it has exercised options for 22 firm order increasing the lessors commitment to 42 firm A320neo family aircraft powered with GTF engines. SMBC Aviation Capital CCO Barry Flannery, said "SMBC Aviation Capital is pleased to confirm these latest technology engines reflecting our underlying commitment to invest in the most fuel efficient and sustainable aircraft types, which our customers want to operate."
