Air India and All Nippon Airways (ANA) announce codeshare partnership

AirAsia accelerates Indian Expansion

Air Asia announced launch of two new routes from its Kula Lumpur Base to Guwahati and Kozhikode, effective from 1st August operating three times weekly. Air Asia Group Chief Commercial Officer Caroll said “We are accelerating in India, one of AirAsia’s biggest markets, with two brand new routes to these renowned destinations. Both Kozhikode and Guwahati boast immense tourism potential, each offering its own unique charm. AirAsia is the sole airline in Malaysia, providing affordable direct connectivity to these cities, enabling travellers to explore them conveniently.”

Air India and All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced a commercial agreement commencing a codeshare partnership that will connect Japan and India effective from 23 May. ANA started applying its “NH” code to Air India’s flights between Narita and Delhi, and Air India added its “AI” code to ANA’s flights between Haneda and New Delhi and Narita and Mumbai. Air India Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer Nipun Aggarwal, said “This codeshare agreement with All Nippon Airways marks an important step forward in connecting India and Japan. This collaboration broadens our network connectivity and offers our guests seamless travel experiences and a wider choice of flights between the two countries. We look forward to a successful collaboration with ANA and exploring further avenues for cooperation in the future.”

 

FLY91 receives prestigious IHC London-IIHM Hospitality award

FLY91 Indian’s new regional airline based in Goa received the prestigious IHC London- IIHM Hospitality Honours List 2024 award during a ceremony. IndiGo connects Delhi and Jharsuguda

IndiGo announced a new route connecting Delhi and Jharsuguda located in the western part of the Indian state of Odisha, effective 15 May operating daily providing a direct gateway between the emerging industrial centre and the capital of India. IndiGo Head of Global Sales, Vinay Malhotra, said “We are pleased to announce direct connectivity between Jharsuguda and Delhi. As an emerging industrial hub in Odisha, Jharsuguda holds immense potential for business and trade, and these new flights will unlock newer opportunities in the region.
