Air India announces Alaska Airlines partnership
Air India announced a new interline partnership with Alaska Airlines enabling passengers to connect to points on Alaska Airlines network from Air India’s current gateways in North America (Chicago, Newark, New York JFK, Washington Dulles, SFO and Vancouver). Air India Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer, Nipun Aggarwal said, “The tie-up with Alaska Air will expand our international footprint in the US and Canada and even extend our reach to Mexico boosting our network expansion plans. It will help us offer more choice to our guests and mark a significant step forward in our mission to enhance connectivity.”
BLR Airport Enhances Domestic Passenger Experience
Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport) announced the successful completion of a major terminal transformation project, which includes the repurposing of the former International area within Terminal 1 to create a dedicated and expansive space for Domestic operations including nine new contact stands and ten baggage belts for domestic operations and enhanced security screening area.

IndiGo announced it has achieved a historic landmark by surpassing the milestone of over 2000 planned flights a day. According to OAG Data IndiGo is among the top 10 airlines globally in both frequency and by seat capacity. InterGlobe Enterprises Plans to Launch Air Taxi Service Across India
InterGlobe Enterprises and Archer Aviation Inc announced signing of memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the goal of partnering to launch and operate an all-electric air taxi service in India in 2026 with the purchase of up to 200 of Archer’s Midnight aircraft, subject to receiving appropriate regulatory approvals and clearances. Group Managing Director of InterGlobe Rahul Bhatiasaid: “Over the last two decades, InterGlobe has been involved in providing safe, efficient, and affordable transportation to hundreds of millions of Indians across the country. We are excited at this new opportunity of bringing an effective, futuristic, and sustainable transport solution by introducing Archer’s electric aircraft to India.”
