CDB Aviation Leases Six Aircraft to Hainan Airlines
CDB Aviation announced signature of lease agreements for a fleet of three Airbus A320neo and three new Boeing 737 MAX 8 with Hainan Airlines. CDB Aviation’s Chief Executive Officer Jie Chen said “We are very pleased to be building on our long-standing relationship with Hainan Airlines as they position their airlines to expand into the coming decade, aiming to operate a 1,000-strong fleet by 2029. CDB Aviation is confident that Asia will experience a robust rebound in air travel between now and the end of 2024. We are geared up to meet the demand for aircraft from Chinese and Asian carriers, with ongoing campaigns for both placements and SLBs in the region.”
China Eastern Airline selects GEnx engines for Boeing 787 fleet
China Eastern Airlines announced t an order for 25 GEnx-1B engines to power its Boeing 787 fleet and also includes a long-term TrueChoice services agreement. China Eastern Airlines Deputy General Manager Guowei Cheng said, "China Eastern Airlines and GE Aerospace are always in good cooperative relationship. At the 6th CIIE, China Eastern Airlines will purchase a new batch of GEnx engines and related services, which will support the operation and development of China Eastern Airlines' fleet. We look forward to continuing to cooperate with GE Aerospace for mutual benefits, serving consumers with new aviation technologies and products, and promoting sustainable development.”
Xiamen Airlines orders CFM LEAP-1A engines
CFM International and Xiamen Airlines announced an agreement for the purchase of LEAP-1A engines, to power its 15 Airbus 321neo and 25 Airbus 320neo aircraft, including spare engines. A separate services agreement was signed for the carrier’s LEAP-1B and CFM56-7B fleets. Xiamen Airlines Chairman Dong Zhao said, “We have long-standing relationship with CFM and 100% of our fleet is powered by CFM and GE engines."
