Air India leases fourth A320neo from SMBC Aviation Capital
SMBC Aviation Capital announce the delivery of one Airbus A320-251N aircraft (msn 12016) to Air India at Toulouse, France on 28th March. The aircraft is the fourth of six Airbus A320-251N aircraft contracted for delivery to Air India.
IndiGo connects Kannur and Abu Dhabi
IndiGo announced a new direct route connecting Kannur in the state of Kerala and Abu Dhabi commencing 9th April operating daily, strengthening socio-cultural diversity between the two countries. IndiGo Head of Global Sales Mr. Vinay Malhotra said, “We are pleased to announce direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Kannur. With the addition of these flights, IndiGo will operate 56 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from 8 cities in India, promoting travel, trade, and tourism between the two countries. We are continuously working towards providing our customers with superior connectivity and enhanced accessibility to explore new horizons with our ever-expanding range of travel options.”
Pratt & Whitney Canada announces engine agreement with FLY91
Pratt & Whitney Canada announced has signed a multi-year engine services agreement with FLY91 for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the PW127M engines that power its fleet of growing ATR 72-600 aircraft, to provide local connectivity to underserved cities in country. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer FLY91 Manoj Chacko, said "The agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada is a significant step in assuring we can provide our customers with dependable regional air travel from our base at Goa’s Manohar International Airport. We are committed to reliable, sustainable, and scalable air transportation services to build India’s regional connectivity. We strongly believe that our ATR aircraft powered by P&WC’s PW127M engines will help us achieve just that.”
