Air Serbia and China Southern Airlines enhance cooperation

Air Serbia and China Southern Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Belgrade. Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the companies will negotiate to strengthen cooperation in various areas, including, among others, code-share partnership, cargo operations, ground handling services, MRO, catering, lounge cooperation options within their networks.

China Southern Air Holding Company Limited President Han Wensheng, stated “China Southern Airlines has recently launched a new route from Guangzhou to Belgrade at the end of September, which will significantly enhance connectivity between China and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks a key step in China Southern Airlines’ commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative and a Belgrade, 1 October 2024. New starting point for its cooperation with Air Serbia. Looking ahead, China Southern Airlines and Air Serbia will work closely together to provide passengers with a more seamless and exceptional customer experience.”

 

China Eastern Airlines connects Shanghai and Venice

China Eastern Airlines (CEA) commenced a new direct flight route between Shanghai and Venice effective from 26th September, operating three times weekly, operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The expanded network is expected to further enhance connectivity between China and Italy, as well as in the broader China-Europe region.

 

HAECO and Boeing announce parts supply agreement

HAECO and Boeing announced the signature of a new agreement to cover spares and consignment parts supplied by Boeing to support HAECO’s global MRO services. The newly signed comprehensive agreement consolidates previous separate agreements across various Boeing and HAECO business units under a single agreement. HAECO Group Director of Finance Roy Shearer, said “This new consolidated agreement with Boeing will significantly enhance our operational efficiency in delivering comprehensive MRO services for our diverse customer base. It represents a strategic step forward in our commitment to optimising our supply chain management strategy across all areas of HAECO.”
