Airbus A321NX delivered to Turkish Airlines by SMBC Aviation
SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one Airbus A321-200NX aircraft (MSN 11312) to Turkish Airlines powered by PW1133G-JM engines. The aircraft is the eighth of ten aircraft contracted between SMBC Aviation Capital Limited and Turkish Airlines.
Breeze Airways leases two new Airbus A220-300s from Azorra
Azorra announced that it has signed lease agreements for two new Airbus A220-300 aircraft with Breeze Airways. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in early 2024, from Airbus’ Mirabel plant in Quebec, Canada. Azorra’s CEO, John Evans said “We are thrilled to be continuing our long, well-established relationship with David Neeleman and the team at Breeze. The A220 is a modern and environmentally friendly aircraft that is the ideal choice for Breeze’s expanding point-to-point route network across the US. We look forward to supporting Breeze with its plan to democratize sustainable travel.”
Deucalion Aviation expands executive team
Deucalion Aviation announced that it has strengthened its senior Executive Team. Diarmuid Hogan is joining as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Lewis Sutherland, who has been with Deucalion as the Head of Asia is promoted to the position of Chief Commercial Officer; both will take up positions on Deucalion’s Executive Committee. Jeff Lewis joins Deucalion as Senior Vice President of Origination, from FTAI Aviation and Nick Moore will join effective from 1 July, 1 as SVP Commercial, he will be based in Singapore and will focus on Deucalion’s operations in the Asia Pacific region. Deucalion Aviation Co-CEO and Chief Investment Officer Stephan Sayre said “We are thrilled with these new additions to our team. IndiGo leases Airbus A321neo from Dynam Aviation
Dynam Aviation (Ireland) announced the delivery of one new Airbus A321neo on lease to IndiGo. The aircraft is first of three aircraft from a recently completed sale and leaseback transaction. Dynam Aviation CEO Katsuhiko Ando, said “I would like to thank IndiGo and Airbus for making this a smooth delivery and look forward to reinforcing our relationship with Sato Aviation by acting as lease manager for this aircraft.”
