Allied Air adds Second AEI Boeing 737-800SF Freighter
Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) announced Nigeria-based Allied Air, has taken ownership of a second AEI Boeing 737-800SF freighter (MSN 30146) in a third-party transaction. The aircraft is the second youngest 737-800 converted freighter with a build date of 2010. The airline said they plan to have a fleet of up to eight AEI B737-800SF freighters by 2028. AEI Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Robert T. Convey said “The movement of 737-800s returning to service is a good sign overall that the lull in the narrowbody conversion market is beginning to resolve. We believe that the market and demand for narrowbody freighters will begin to return to normal by mid-2026.”
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) closes Boeing 737-800 financing
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) announced it has completed the financing of a Boeing 737-800 with South Africa’s Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking (Nedbank CIB). The transaction marks the second deal. the company has completed in recent weeks, supporting its on-going 737-800 acquisition campaign, and its first financing with Nedbank. Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) Chief Commercial Officer, Joe Cirillo, said “As we continue to broaden our lending relationships, AELF is well positioned to take advantage of market opportunities and support on-going fleet expansion efforts.”
Ashland Place Completes New Financing for Crestone Air Partners Boeing 737-800
Ashland Place Finance announced the completion of a new facility financing the acquisition of a Boeing 737-800 for Crestone Air Partners. Air T inc, and Mill Road Capital Management LLC. Crestone Chief Executive Officer Kevin Milligan, added, “We are once again pleased to have partnered with Jennifer and the talented team at Ashland Place. Avia Solutions Group orders 80 Boeing 737 MAXs
Dublin-based Avia Solutions Group announced an order for 80 Boeing 737-MAX. The transaction is split between 40 firm orders and 40 purchase rights, with deliveries starting in 2030. This is the first direct order placed by the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider. Boeing senior vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing, Brad McMullen said “ACMI providers such as Avia Solutions Group offer important, flexible capacity to meet the dynamic demand in our industry and we are honored Avia has selected Boeing airplanes to help meet that demand from its customers,” said Brad McMullen, Boeing senior vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing. “By choosing the 737-8, Avia is aligning with its customers’ plans to operate increasingly fuel-efficient fleets that improve the passenger experience.”
