Canada Jetlines leases two Airbus A320 aircraft from CMB Leasing

ACI World (ACI) and China Civil Airports Association (CCAA) sign MOU

Airports Council International (ACI) World, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), and the China Civil Airports Association (CCAA) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the cooperation of Chinese airports. The ACI-CCAA MoU will see collaboration in a number of areas, including ACI Global Trainings and Assessments, including the APEX in Excellence peer assessment program, joint ACI and CCAA events in China, airport customer experience through the ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program and Decarbonization through the new ACI APAC & MID Net Zero Roadmap program.

ACI World Director General Luis Felipe de Oliveira said, “The reopening of China in 2022, the second largest aviation market after the United States, remains a critical boost to global activity and to passenger traffic, both domestically within the Chinese aviation market and for international travel. The Asia-Pacific region, where China plays a key role, is expected rebound in 2023, reaching 85.3% of 2019 levels. Our deepest gratitude to CCAA for its warm hospitality, as we look forward to fortifying our partnership in a multitude of ways, including enhancing the customer experience, honing professional skills and accreditations, championing decarbonization and organizing airport events around the world, with Chinese airports at the forefront.”

 

Air China reinstates Munich-Shanghai route

Air China has reinstated the Munich to Shanghai route operating three times weekly operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft.  The route was suspended for nearly four years due to the pandemic.

 

AirAsia Relocates Operations at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

AirAsia announced it will relocate its international flight operations at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) from Terminal 2 (T2) to Terminal 1 (T1), effective 25 January.

 

Canada Jetlines leases two Airbus A320 aircraft from CMB Leasing

Canada Jetlines announced the addition of two new Airbus A320-214 aircraft to its fleet signing lease agreements with CMB Financial Leasing marking a strategic move to enhance the airline's operational capabilities for delivery in 2024Q2. Canada Jetlines CEO Eddy Doyle said "This signifies a significant step forward in our growth strategy. The addition of two A320-214 aircraft underscores our commitment to meeting the increasing demand for affordable air travel, while maintaining our commitment to safety and service excellence."
