BOC Aviation announces IndiGo Airbus A320neo transaction
BOC Aviation announced it has signed a finance lease transaction involving ten Airbus A320NEO aircraft with IndiGo for delivery this year. BOC Aviation Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Steven Townend said “We are delighted to be embarking on another transaction with our long-time customer IndiGo, to enable the airline to expand its fleet with the latest technology aircraft. This showcases our ability to deploy alternative financing structures, to continue our long-term sustainable growth.”
China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) announces plan to buy back USD Bonds
China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) announced the formal commencement of a tender offer to purchase for cash the outstanding amount of two USD ($) bonds due 2024 valued at $300 million. China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) CEO & Executive Director Mr. Mike Poon said “The Group boasts highly liquid quality assets and maintains financial strength with sufficient liquidity. We have strong confidence in achieving sustainable business growth along with recovery in aviation. By proactively managing our liabilities to optimize our debt structure, we aim to further improve our operational and financial robustness through various measures so as to move towards investment-grade credit rating and create long-term returns and value for our shareholders and the broader investment community.”

Cathay Pacific Airways announced its to reinstate Hong Kong to Colombo route from 2 February 2024 operated by two class 293 seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft to meet business and leisure demand and to enable global connectivity from Cathay’s Hong Kong hub. Cathay Pacific Regional Head of Customer Travel and Lifestyle, South Asia, Middle East, and Africa, Anand Yedery said “This notable relaunch isn’t just a testament to our dedication towards our clientele, but it’s also indicative of Sri Lanka’s pivotal position in Cathay Pacific’s expansive network.”
