ATSG Subsidiaries to Convert Two B737-400 Aircraft For China-Based Airline
Air Transport Services Group, Inc announced 11 April that its subsidiaries have acquired two Boeing 737-400 aircraft and will convert them to freighter configuration for lease to China-based Okay Airways. ATSG West Leasing Limited, an aircraft leasing company based in Ireland and a wholly owned ATSG subsidiary, has acquired and will lease the aircraft to Okay in late 2017 for terms of seven years. PEMCO World Air Services, another wholly owned ATSG subsidiary, will convert the 737-400s to freighters this summer at PEMCO’s facilities at the Tampa International Airport.
BOC Aviation takes delivery of 19 aircraft in 1Q 2017
BOC Aviation announced 13 April that in the first quarter of 2017 it has recorded an order book of 201 aircraft and has taken the delivery of 19 aircraft, including 2 acquired by airline customers on delivery. BOC Aviation has also signed 31 leases agreement in the first quarter of 2017 and sold six owned aircraft.
CALC acquires new A320-200
China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC) announced that it has entered into an Aircraft Purchase Agreement with Airbus for another new A320-200ceo aircraft on April 13, 2017 on top of its order of two A320 aircraft on April 3. These aircraft are scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2017 and CALC’s fleet will reach at least 103 aircraft by the end of this year.
CDB Aviation Lease Finance Delivers New Airbus A321-200ceo to Wizz Air
CDB Aviation Lease Finance announced 7 April the delivery of one new Airbus A321-200ceo aircraft to Wizzair. The A321-200ceo is the penultimate aircraft from a purchase and lease transaction with Wizzair, bringing the current number of CDB Aviation’s aircraft to eight with the airline.
CDB Aviation Lease Finance Delivers New Boeing 737-800 to Shandong Airlines
CDB Aviation Lease Finance announced 7 April the delivery of one new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Chinese carrier, Shandong Airlines. The 737-800 is from CDB Aviation’s order book and represents the lessor’s tenth aircraft on lease to the airline.
China's Minsheng Enters U.S. Leasing Market with Jet Edge
Minsheng Financial Leasing held a signing ceremony on April 11 for the lease of three Embraer Legacy 650s to Jet Edge, marking its first such agreement involving U.S. operations. Jet Edge took delivery of the first of the Legacys at the end of March. All three of the super-midsize business jets are expected to enter service in the next three to four months, said Jet Edge CEO Bill Papariella. Minsheng Financial Leasing has built a portfolio of 300 aircraft, with business aircraft accounting for almost half of that total.
