First Aircraft Lifecycle Services Centre opens in China
TARMAC Aerosave, Airbus, and the City of Chengdu have established Airbus Lifecycle Services, a Joint Venture for the first aircraft lifecycle services centre in China. The facility will offer aircraft storage, maintenance, dismantling and recycling services. The facility will cover a surface area of 717,000 square metres and a storage capacity of 125 aircraft.
Hong Kong Airlines new strategic investment
Hong Kong Airlines announced that the strategic investment fund has been secured for the restructuring accelerating its business recovery and return to growth trajectory. Hong Kong Airlines Chairman Mr. Hou Wei stated, "After three incredibly challenging years, Hong Kong Airlines is ready to embark on a new chapter with our valued stakeholders, business partners, and customers, thanks to their unwavering support and ongoing confidence in the company. In the year ahead, our focus remains on business recovery, supported by strategic route planning and fleet realignment. The company will strive to offer our customers more choices and top-notch service, strengthening our role in developing Hong Kong as a world-class aviation hub.”
New Chairman appointed at BOC Aviation
BOC Aviation announce the appointment of Mr. Liu Jin as Chairman, with effect from 24th April 2023.
Two Airbus A320s delivered to Beibu Gulf Airlines by AerDragon
AerDragon announced the delivery of two Airbus A320s to Chinese carrier Beibu Gulf Airlines, based in Guangxi. AerDragon CEO Gang Li said “We are pleased to welcome Beibu Gulf Airlines to AerDragon’s growing list of customers. The teams of AerDragon and Beibu Gulf Airlines enjoyed working together for the successful delivery.
