Beijing's Daxing airport new London Heathrow route

China Southern Airlines commenced a new route between London Heathrow and Beijing Daxing operating daily operated by a 314-passenger Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

 

CAAC seeks to improve airbridge efficiency

CAAC held a round table session on 2nd June to launch special campaigns for improving rates of flights using jet bridges for boarding at airports with a passenger traffic over 10 million, at 41 airports with a handling capacity of 10 million passengers in China focusing on 13 hub airports in 10 major international aviation hub cities.

 

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) delivers first A321neo to Xiamen Airlines

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) announced the delivery of  first of thee Airbus A321neo aircraft to Xiamen Airlines, the remaining two aircraft between 2023 and 2024, from CALC's order book from Airbus. China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) CEO & Director Mike Poon said "We thank Xiamen Air for their trust in CALC, and we are delighted to deliver our first A321neo to Xiamen Air as one of our longstanding customers with a prominent management model and strong profitability. Riding on the accelerating market recovery, airlines are seeking larger narrow-body new technology aircraft with greater capacity and more flexible seating options to provide passengers with the best travel experience possible."

 

Hong Kong Airlines boosts flights operations to meet demand

Hong Kong Airlines is ramping up its flight operations in Mainland China to meet the growing demand for air travel . This month the carrier will increase connections between Hong Kong and key destinations in Mainland China. Daily services to Chongqing and Sanya will be resumed, offering convenient flight options for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, flights to Hangzhou will become 10 times weekly

 

IATA announces Hong Kong (SAR) China Aviation Day

IATA announced it will hold Hong Kong (SAR) China Aviation Day conference between 1-3 August, co-hosted by IATA and Hong Kong International Airport. The conference objective is focused on rebuilding the industry. with a panel discussion to look at the opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and its impact to the aviation industry and HKIA as a hub airport.
