Chinese domestic aviation returns to pre-epidemic level says CAAC
China's aviation industry is seeing a stable recovery, and transport on domestic routes has returned to its pre-epidemic level announced the Civil Aviation Administration of China last week. The scale of passenger transportation on domestic routes was the same as in the same period of 2019 before the epidemic.
Chinese firm produces 100th Airbus A220 mid-fuselage
The 100th China-made mid-fuselage section for the Airbus A220 aircraft rolled off the production line in Shenyang, in northeast China's Liaoning Province last week. The mid-fuselage was manufactured by SAC Commercial Aircraft International Ltd. (SACI), a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China.
Singapore and China sign MOU to improve air traffic management capabilities
Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (ATMB/CAAC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate to improve their air traffic management (ATM) capabilities. They said the agreement will help to fulfil a global air navigation plan set out by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
Sine Draco Aviation Development Announces the Addition of Aviation Industry Veteran Eric Chen as Senior Advisor
Sine Draco Aviation Development announced that Eric Chen has joined Sine Draco Aviation Development as a Senior Advisor. "Eric Chen, with his extensive management, China and aviation knowledge, will contribute significantly to the growth of Sine Draco and the development of Sine Draco passenger to freighter conversion programs." says Chief Executive Officer of Sine Draco, Alex Deriugin. "We are excited to have Eric onboard and look forward to growing Sine Draco's presence globally."
