Air Canada Cargo Reintroduces Shanghai route
Air Canada Cargo announced the reintroduction of its three weekly cargo route between Toronto and Shanghai increasing the total number of cargo flights to seven per week, including passenger services.
Air China partners with WFS for Liege Airport handling contract
Air China announced it has signed a new 3 year cargo& ramp handling agreement with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Liege, for its four times weekly Boeing 777F from Hangzhou. Senior Vice President Commercial of WFS EMEAA Marc Claesen commented “Air China is already a very significant customer of WFS in Europe, North America and Asia for our cargo, ramp, and passenger handling services and for fuelling. Winning this additional contract in Liege shows the strength of our business partnership and, we hope, reflects Air China’s experience of working with WFS stations across its global network. As well as complementing our relationship with Cainiao in Belgium, it also reinforces our reputation as a leading freighter handling provider in Liege and justifies our growing investment at the airport.”
American Airlines leases new Boeing 787-8 from BOC Aviation
American Airlines has leased a new Boeing 787-8 from BOC Aviation, powered by General Electric GEnx engines. BOC Aviation CEO & Managing Director Robert Martin said “We are delighted to have recommenced deliveries of the Boeing 787 aircraft. We look forward to further deliveries for American Airlines and to providing our airline customers with one of the world’s favourite new technology twin-aisle aircraft.”
Wizzair leases Airbus A321Neo from Bocomm Leasing
Wizzair has taken delivery of HA-LZU Airbus A321-271NX msn 10989 on 11th August on lease from Bocomm Leasing. The aircraft was delivered to Wizzair Budapest base according to Planespotters.net.
