AerCap Delivers Loong Air’s First Airbus A321neo
AerCap tweeted it has delivered the first of eight new Airbus A321neo aircraft to China’s Loong Air between now and the end of 2022.
CAAC Validates JetWave Connectivity System for Airbus A320s in China
The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved a validation of Honeywell's MCS-8420 JetWave satellite connectivity system for Airbus A320 aircraft. The validation was one of the first issued by CAAC on a European European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for commercial aviation connectivity. CAAC's validation of the STC comes nearly two years after Honeywell's Boeing 757 demonstrator aircraft equipped with the MCS-8420 completed ground and flight tests in China.
China Airlines joins IATA Travel Pass
China Airlines will begin trialing the IATA Travel Pass (ITP) platform launched by the International Air Transport Association to provide digital health verification. ITP will initially be trialed on flights returning to Taiwan from 8 destinations (Los Angeles, Ontario, San Francisco, New York, Vancouver (Canada), Frankfurt (Germany), London (UK) and Singapore effective from 30th August.
