CALC announced its results for the first quarter of 2022, continued to reinforce its leading position in the domestic market in China
China Asset Leasing Company announced its results for the first quarter of 2022 (for the three months ended 31 March 2022). CALC continued to reinforce its leading position in the domestic market in China during the period and accomplished solid results reporting double-digit growth in revenue and net profit with Improved cash flow from operating activities, its total assets and total equity continued to grow with a fleet of 93 aircraft, including 91 self-owned aircraft and 2 managed aircraft.
CDB Aviation Takes Delivery of First A330 P2F Freighter
CDB Aviation announced on 25th April the delivery of the first freighter aircraft in the lessor’s history, an A330-300 passenger-to-freighter. The aircraft was converted by Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH and is the first of two A330 P2Fs leased to the lessor’s launch customer, Mexico-based cargo carrier, mas. The carrier is expected to take delivery of the second aircraft in May. Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH CEO Jordi Boto stated “We are glad about the in-time, in-quality re-delivery of the first A330P2F to our customer CDB Aviation. With this first of many more to come conversions we proved meeting customer expectations in these very challenging times.”
Diamond opens DA-40 production line in Qingdao
Diamond Aircraft has opened a new DA-40 production line in Qingdao, China and shipping them to Canada for final assembly. In China, the company is building aircraft for local markets, predominately training fleets, under a Chinese production certificate.
HAECO Landing Gear Services And Liebherr-Aerospace Extend Landing Gear Services Agreement In China
HAECO Landing Gear Services announced that the company and Liebherr- Aerospace have extended their initial landing gear service agreement to offer state- of-the-art landing gear maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to Embraer E-Jet E1 operators in the Chinese Mainland. Riding on the stable market demand for MRO services in the region, the partnership combines HAECO Landing Gear Services’ expertise in landing gear MRO services with Liebherr-Aerospace’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) expertise for the Embraer E-Jet E1 landing gear system. Under this agreement, HAECO Landing Gear Services’ quality landing gear MRO services is made available to aircraft operators through cost-competitive solutions offered by Liebherr-Aerospace, bringing planning flexibility to overhaul slots for return-to-service needs.
Spirit AeroSystems Announces Repair Center Agreement with GAMECO
Spirit AeroSystems announced an agreement with Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company Limited (GAMECO) to be the Spirit Authorized Repair Center in Mainland China. Initially, GAMECO will provide repair services to replace Boeing 757 RB211 inlet cowlings and A330 Trent inlet cowlings with plans to expand into nacelle work for Spirit customers. Spirit has signed agreements with two freight carriers to place 757 inlet cowling work with GAMECO. In February, Spirit signed a contract with YTO Cargo Airlines (YTO), based in Hangzhou, China; and in September 2021, Spirit signed a 10-year agreement with SF Airlines (SFA), a cargo carrier based in Shenzhen.
