Air Serbia to launch Beijing service
Air Serbia will start a new route between Belgrade and Beijing in January 2022 according to the state-run Serbia Post using an Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Chinese aviation authority opens Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport
Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has officially opened Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport in Shandong. Built by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), the airport is the first in the Shandong Province to achieve 4F status, meaning it can handle a wide variety of large aircraft.
Chinese-built runway project in Bangladesh to boost regional connectivity
Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sunday laid the foundation stone virtually for the extension of a maritime airport runway in Cox's Bazar. The extended runway, the longest in Bangladesh, is to be built by a joint venture of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and Changjiang Yichang Waterway Engineering Bureau.
China Southern Cargo gains AOC
China Southern Cargo has received its AOC as the parent group spins off its freighter operating business. The new China Southern Cargo business received its AOC from the Civil Aviation Administration of Central South China earlier this month, the carrier said via its official Weibo account.

SpiceJet doubles frequency of cargo flights to China
SpiceJet has doubled the frequency of its scheduled freighter flights to Kunming and Wuhan in China from two to four per week ahead of the festive season. In an statement it said “China is an important market for SpiceXpress and we have increased our frequency to Wuhan and Kunming.”
