Airbus Lifecycle Services Centre (ALSC) opens in Chengdu
Airbus Lifecycle Services Centre (ALSC) has commenced operations in Chengdu (China), offering solutions to manage the entire lifecycle of an aircraft. This centre is the first of its kind to cover, as a one-stop shop, the full range of activities for the full lifecycle of aircraft including conversions, MRO and tear-down. The Airbus Lifecycle Services Centre (ALSC) is certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Airbus SVP Customer Services Cristina Aguilar, said “I’m glad to see the Airbus Lifecycle Services Centre enter into service in Chengdu. It echoes our purpose to pioneer sustainable aerospace and shows our approach to environmental responsibility across the entire aircraft lifecycle. Our service centre is a great example of Chinese-European cooperation in the development of the circular economy for the aviation industry.”
Chinese Carriers Increase Budapest route frequencies
Chinese carriers Air China and Shanghai Airlines are increasing frequencies from Budapest to meet growing demand. Air China will add one additional between Budapest and Beijing for a total of three weekly frequencies and Shanghai Airlines will significant boost capacity increasing from three times weekly to a daily to Shanghai, a positive indicator of increasing interest in long-haul travel from China as market recovery continues.
Cebu Pacific leases Airbus A320ceo from CALC
China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) announce that the delivery of one Airbus A320ceo aircraft to Cebu Pacific. The transaction marks the first delivery between CALC and Cebu Pacific. Executive Director and CCO of CALC Ms. Winnie Liu, said “We are delighted to welcome Cebu Pacific as our newest customer and we look forward to building long-term partnership with the airline. We are dedicated to supporting Cebu Pacific's growth plans in Asia through future transactions and collaborations.”
