- @kpottermn Weeks after Frontier did the same, Spirit is ditching pure a la carte pricing and re-bundling fares. Budget airlines have been duking it out with major carriers (who sell basic economy) for years. Now, they're haemorrhaging money. Ultra-low-cost carriers lost. Basic economy won.
- @LuxuryTravelled Interesting that @AirCanada are inferring it’s something they might want to operate with a higher frequency in the future, but using the A321XLR, year-round.
- @LuxuryTravelled In reality - HS1/2 should be joined up, Heathrow should be connected to both - if you free up slots otherwise for MAN/CDG/BRU, you could have somewhere around 30 slot pairs freed up for other connectivity.
- @LuxuryTravelled There’s now quite a lot of slots for Airbus customers to fill now over the next few years. A chance for the US majors and some European carriers (possibly even Indian) to take them.
