Aviation Capital Group (ACG) Delivers Boeing 737-9 MAX to United Airlines
Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG) announced the delivery of one Boeing 737-9 MAX aircraft to United Airlines, as part of a multiple-aircraft sale-leaseback transaction between ACG and United Airlines. Atlas Air to Add Three Boeing 747-8 Freighters
Atlas Air announced it is adding three Boeing 747-8 freighters to its fleet to meet the strong global demand for dedicated large widebody airfreight capacity, particularly for cross-border e-commerce shipping. The three additional 747-8Fs, secured through long-term finance lease agreements with BOC Aviation, are expected to enter service late in the third quarter of 2024. Atlas Air Worldwide CEO Michael Steen, said “Atlas is the world’s largest operator of 747 freighters, and we are thrilled to expand our widebody fleet with these three 747-8Fs, following the four 747-400Fs we acquired and placed with customers under long-term agreements earlier this year. Our growth in this aircraft type underscores Atlas’ commitment to the 747-freighter platform and the value it provides our customers, including significant payload capacity and unique nose-loading capability.”
BOC Aviation Signs Purchase-And-Leaseback Agreements With Frontier Airlines
BOC Aviation announced that it has signed purchase-and-leaseback agreements with existing Frontier Airlines for 15 new Airbus A320NEO aircraft. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in 2025 & 2026. BOC Aviation CEO & MD Steven Townend, said “We are excited to be working again with long-time customer Frontier, which is the largest A320NEO operator in the United States. This transaction leverages our strong available liquidity and builds on our solid existing pipeline of aircraft scheduled for delivery beyond 2024, as we expand both our revenue base and our fleet of latest generation aircraft.”
Omni Air International Partners with New England Patriots
Omni Air International announced a long-term agreement with the New England Patriots professional football team under which Omni will operate the Patriots’ two Boeing 767-300 aircraft for team travel and other charter flights including humanitarian and goodwill flights on behalf of the Kraft family, and as available for Omni's other charter customers. Omni President David Ray, said "This agreement brings together industry-leading organizations that value their people, patriotism, professionalism, and a culture of success. We are proud to include the Patriots’ aircraft in support of our clientele."
