Delta announces new Airbus A220-300 aircraft order
Aircastle prices senior notes
Aircastle announced the pricing of $650 million aggregate principal amount of its 6.500% Senior Notes due 2028 at an issue price of 99.815%. The lessor plans to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include the acquisition of aircraft assets, as well as refinancing a portion of its existing indebtedness.
Avelo Airlines adds Salem to route network
Avelo Airlines announced the addition of Salem, Portland to its growing route network effective 5 October operating twice weekly to Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) serving Los Angeles region and Las Vegas using Boeing 737NG aircraft. Delta announces new Airbus A220-300 aircraft order
Delta announced an order for 12 additional A220-300 aircraft under its current agreement with Airbus, bringing the airline’s total firm order for A220s to 131 aircraft - 45 A220-100s and 86 A220-300, with 61 aircraft delivered to date. Delta Vice President of Fleet Kristen Bojko said “The A220-300 offers efficient performance and flexibility. The continuing expansion of Delta’s A220 family is an integral investment in the future of sustainable aviation.”
Southwest Airlines Promotes Dean Jenkins as Vice President Treasurer
Southwest Airlines announced the promotion of Dean Jenkins from Assistant Treasurer to Vice President Treasurer, effective immediately, reporting to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Tammy Romo.
VAS Aero Services acquires Boeing 737-700 assets
VAS Aero Services announced it has acquired two additional Boeing 737-700 aircraft for teardown at Marana commencing this month and subsequent parts harvesting and marketing. Over the last 12 months VAS has acquired a total of 27 aircraft.
