Abelo leases first ATR72-500 to Renegade Air
Kenyan regional carrier Renegade Air took delivery of its first ATR72-500 on lease from Dublin based lessor Abelo, making history becoming first ever ATR72-500 aircraft in Kenya. The aircraft has been converted into a cargo configuration to meet the requirements of Renegade Air’s operations. Abelo Chief Marketing Officer, Mathieu Duquesnoy stated “We are thrilled to partner with Renegade Air in bringing the first ATR -500 aircraft to Kenya. This collaboration highlights our commitment to providing tailored leasing solutions to airlines seeking to enhance their capabilities. The conversion of this ATR aircraft into a dedicated cargo platform is a testament to its versatility, adaptability across different operational requirements, and long-term value as an asset.”
Avion Express leases A319 from AviaAM Leasing
AviaAM Leasing announced delivery of an Airbus A319 aircraft (MSN 1745) to Avion Express, leveraging synergies with as both AviaAM Leasing and Avion Express are part of the Avia Solutions Group.

Genesis announced that it has added a 6th Airbus A320 aircraft with Lithuanian charter airline Heston Airlines. Genesis CEO Karl Griffin stated, “Genesis are excited to acquire this additional A320 with Heston Airlines, continuing to support the airline’s growth plans enabling them to become a best-in-class ACMI and Charter operator. Our co-operation began in 2020 in extremely challenging times, and our belief in their team, business model, and the continued performance of the airline since its launch made it an easy decision to enhance our partnership with Heston.”
Falko Delivers Embraer E175 portfolio to Airlink
Falko announced the delivery of four Embraer E175 aircraft on lease to South Africa independent regional carrier AirLink. Airlink now operates E170, E175 and E190 aircraft from Falko’s managed portfolio. Falko Chief Commercial Officer Mark Hughes, said “The transaction further expands Falko’s footprint in Africa, an increasingly important market for regional aircraft. We expect to see significant growth and opportunities in the African aviation market over the next couple of decades as countries look to improve connectivity across and into the continent in a bid to facilitate economic growth.”
