Aero India Show in Bengaluru from 3-7th February 2021 Karnataka will host the 13th edition of Aero India Show in Bengaluru from 3-7th February 2021 amid all necessary precautions due to COVID-19, said Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa. The State’s share in Aviation and Space is 25% and contributing 65% to Aviation-related exports and 67% in Defence services, helicopters and airplanes. Karnataka has been the first State in the country to formulate Aerospace Policy Air India Announces Additional Flights to Canada From 25 October Amid the rising demands for international flights, National carrier Air India has announced that it will operate additional flights between India and Canada from 25 October to 27 March 2021. Hardeep Singh Puri, MoS, I/C, Civil Aviation, informed that Government of India has formalized air bubble arrangements with 16 countries adding countries like Oman, Bhutan on the list alongside earlier done agreements with countries like USA, Canada, France, Germany, among others. The Minister also added that Government is in discussion with Italy, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and others for similar arrangements. AirAsia India sees sustained passenger growth, to induct more aircraft AirAsia India foresees a sustained passenger demand to power its growth in the coming quarter. Accordingly the airline is in fact going ahead with the planned induction of 5 fully-owned aircraft which will bring down the average fleet age to around three years. AirAsia India CEO & MD Sunil Bhaskaran said “So far as the air traffic is concerned, it has been highly directional between metro and non-metro cities, though we are now beginning to see the metro-metro traffic coming back." Delhi airport's duty free store starts online ''click and collect'' service Delhi airport’s duty free store has started a "click and collect" service that allows international passengers to book products online and collect them from the store on the day of their travel. The duty free store at the airport is run by Delhi Duty-Free Services Pvt Ltd (DDFS), a joint venture of the DIAL, Aer Rianta International and GMR Airports Limited. Nepal, India discuss opening new air routes The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) and Indian Embassy held a meeting  regarding new air entry points. Nepal and India have been discussing about new entry routes for aircraft to enter Nepal via third country.
