Alliance Air to launch flight to Bengaluru, Pune from Belgaum Alliance Air said it will start flight operations from Belgaum to Pune and Bengaluru with flights six-days per week, effective 15 May. The new services are being introduced under the Central government's regional connectivity scheme, Udan using an ATR72 aircraft.

Hyderabad Airport Ranked Among World's Top 10

In the latest survey conducted by AirHelp, Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has been ranked as the world's eighth best airport.

Mumbai Airport offers pre-order food service to passengers

In a new initiative, you can now pre-order food when flying in and out of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA). They can also opt for delivery as well as self-pick service for the same. The service has been named ‘Order Ahead’ and is the first of its kind service in the country. The interested passengers need to download an app, and then scan the QR code that will be made available at Terminal 1 and 2 of the Mumbai airport.

NAC urged to increase flights to India

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) has directed Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) to increase the number of its daily flights to India. Officials at MoCTCA said that increasing the number of flights to India will not only boost Nepal Airlines’ presence in the international market but will also help raise the inflow of foreign tourists in Nepal ahead of Visit Nepal 2020 tourism campaign. New Chennai airport terminal to be ready months before its 2021 deadline The new integrated terminal being built between the domestic and international terminals in the city airport might be be ready well ahead of the 2021 deadline. Airports Authority of India (AAI) has decided to advance by three to four months the deadline for phase 2 expansion of the airport, which includes building the new terminal, straightening of a taxiway, building rapid exit taxiways. This indicates the facilities will be ready by the end of 2020 or early 2021. SpiceJet introduces India first business-budget hybrid airline, flights operational from May 11 India is all set to get its first business-budget hybrid airline on Saturday (May 11)  after SpiceJet added 10 Boeing 737s, acquired from Jet Airways, to its fleet. This new segment SpiceBiz has been configured in twin class - business section with 2x2 seating in a row and economy section with 3x3 seating from 11 May.
