BLADE India launches helicopter service from Bengaluru to Coorg, Kabini The Indian subsidiary of US-based helicopter transport firm BLADE has launched its scheduled by-the-seat services on Bengaluru-Coorg and Bengaluru-Kabini routes in Karnataka. BLADE India MD Amit Dutta, said, "Karnataka boasts of some of the most beautiful destinations in the country, however, their accessibility is a pain point. 6-7 hours of road travel from Bangalore eat into the precious time that travellers could otherwise spend enjoying their holiday. BLADE mitigates this pain with an hour's seamless experience.” Domestic demand has not slowed down since Diwali: IndiGo's Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer Sanjay Kumar In an interview with Moneycontrol IndiGo's Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer Sanjay Kumar said demand has not slowed down since Diwali, and there were a couple of weekends when not a single seat was available for tourist destinations. Hans Airways to start direct flights on UK-India sector from early 2022 Hans Airways, a new startup UK airline, plans to commence air operations from the UK to India beginning early 2022. The airline had previously announced to inaugurate its maiden flight in autumn 2021, which was delayed due to ongoing travel restrictions and approval process. The start-up announced a recruitment agreement with Swiss company Resource Group to hire captains, first officers, and training captains to fly a fleet of Airbus A330-200s to serve secondary airports on a low-cost model. Vistara Hopes To Take Delivery Of 4 Boeing 787s Next Year Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer Vinod Kannan expects Boeing to deliver the airline’s remaining 787 Dreamliners sometime next year. The Indian carrier has pinned its hopes on the 787s for international long-haul expansion and has had to delay certain routes because of a lack of more widebody aircraft. Kannan, however, is hopeful that more Dreamliners will join the carrier’s fleet in 2022, according to Boeing’s revised schedule. 19 new aircraft stands at Delhi airport T1 To make the Delhi airport “future-ready”, 19 new aircraft stands have been made operational under the first phase of the expansion work at Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 1 apron,  In the first phase of works, 19 out of 82 Code C stands have been constructed. The new stands have become operational after statutory approval from Directorate General of Civil Aviation for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
