Best gift to business community in decades: CNCCI on air cargo services The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) welcomed the launch of air cargo services in Nagaland and termed it as ‘one of the best gift given to the business community and entrepreneurs of the State in decades’. It said that the introduction of the services is a laudable step and a positive move towards integrating the State economy with the rest of the world at a faster pace. The Confederation on behalf of the business community and entrepreneurs of Nagaland extended appreciation to the State government and the Department of Horticulture for the progressive step. Eleven Indian airports win 2020 ACI Awards Mumbai: Eight Indian airports have featured in Airports Council International’s (ACI) ``Best Airports in Asia Pacific region” and among these are airports of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin. A new category of an award that ACI introduced  the `Hygiene Award’’ Chandigarh, Kolkata and Pune airports made it to the top in the Asia-Pacific category. India now has over 700 commercial aircraft New Delhi: India's civil aviation sector, which was heavily battered by the Covid-19 pandemic, added over 20 aircraft during the year 2020. "The country's total commercial aircraft fleet reached 716 by the end of the last year." India signs air bubble agreements with Uzbekistan and Seychelles India has signed air bubble agreements with Uzbekistan and Seychelles. India now shares bilateral travel arrangements with 27 countries including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Canada, France, Germany, Iraq, Japan, Maldives, Nigeria, Qatar, UAE, UK, and the US. IndiGo Starts Flight Services From Bareilly to Mumbai, Bengaluru from 29^th April IndiGo airlines announced it will start flight services from Bareilly to Mumbai and Bengaluru effective from 29th April. Bareilly will be the sixth station for the airline in Uttar Pradesh after Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Agra and 67th city on its route network. IndiGo Airlines stated “Being the 8th largest metropolis in Uttar Pradesh, Bareilly is also one of the fastest growing cities of India owing to increasing opportunities in manufacturing and trade.” Uzbekistan Airlines Announces Direct Flights Between Delhi and Tashkent Under Air Bubble Pact India recently signed air bubble arrangement with Uzbekistan, increasing the number of countries under air bubble agreement to 27. Under the pact, International flights from both the sides will fly between the two countries and following the same, Uzbekistan Airlines has announced direct flight to and from India effective from 5th March.
