Air India Group Leases two Boeing 737-8 Aircraft from Avilease

AviLease announced the delivery of two Boeing 737-8 aircraft on lease to Air India Express. The aircraft are the first tranche of six aircraft that will be delivered in 2024. AviLease CEO Edward O’Byrne, said “We are delighted to deliver the first two of six new Boeing 737-8 aircraft to Air India Express. Our partnership with Air India continues to strengthen under Tata Group ownership and we are proud to support their fleet modernization program. We wish the Air India Express team continued success with their commitment to provide affordable and reliable air travel to its customers.”
 

Crestone Air Partners & Atalaya Acquires Two Midlife Airbus A320 Aircraft

Crestone Air Partners announced the purchase of two A320ceo aircraft in partnership with Atalaya Capital Management, both aircraft are on lease to SmartLynx Airlines. Crestone Air Partners CEO Sebastian Lourier, said "We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to SmartLynx as they join the Crestone portfolio. With Crestone's specialized capabilities tailored to support SmartLynx's operations, we eagerly anticipate expanding and strengthening our partnership."

 

Investec supports Air Côte d'Ivoire's expansion

Investec announced it has successfully arranged the refinancing of its existing facility relating to one Airbus A320 and the financing for the acquisition of two additional Airbus A319 aircraft for Air Côte d'Ivoire. This partnership aims to support the airline's expansion plans in the region and to capitalise on the potential of regional connectivity in Africa.  Investec South Africa Aviation Finance consultant, Thato Matsha said "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Air Côte d'Ivoire and contribute to their growth and success. We are pleased to play our part in enabling the airline to expand its operations and enhance regional connectivity in Africa, and in that way contribute to economic growth on the continent.”

 

TrueNoord announces third portfolio trade with Nordic Aviation Capital

TrueNoord announced it has completed a sale agreement for a further eight aircraft with Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC). This portfolio of aircraft, comprising one Dash 8-400 and seven E190s, will increase TrueNoord’s fleet to 94 aircraft. The integration of aircraft is targeted to be completed during Q2 2024. TrueNoord Chief Commercial Officer, Richard Jacobs said “These are exciting times at TrueNoord, as we continue to develop the business and increase our global fleet. We appreciate the professionalism and support of the NAC team, and look forward to closing this mutually beneficial transaction, as both parties pursue their own strategic growth plans.”
