Avolon delivers 5 Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to Akasa Air
Dublin based aircraft lessor Avolon announced it has completed the delivery of 5 new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to Akasa Air. The delivery of the aircraft commenced in December 2022 and was completed in January 2023. This sale and lease back transaction is the lessor’s first transaction with Akasa. Avolon President and Chief Commercial Officer Paul Geaney said “We are excited to support new entrants to the market, so it is a pleasure to have completed this transaction to lease 5 new narrowbody aircraft to Akasa. We congratulate Akasa on their successful launch and look forward to building on our strong relationship with them.”
Blueberry Aviation Completes Remarketing Of Eleven ATR72-600 Aircraft
Blueberry Aviation announced that it has recently delivered the last of eleven ATR72-600s to US lessor Jetstream Aviation Capital. The delivery marks the completion of a repossession and remarketing project which started in 2021 following Avianca’s Chapter 11.
CDB Aviation Delivers Two Boeing 737-800 to Neos
CDB Aviation announced the delivery if two Boeing 737-800 aircraft to a new client Neos. CDB Aviation’s Head of Commercial, EMEA Paul Boyle said “We look forward to building a strong working partnership with our newest European customer in Italy, Neos. These two Boeing aircraft are well suited to serve the carrier’s short- and medium-haul network.”
Flynn O’Driscoll advises Aergo Capital on its acquisition of Seraph Aviation
Flynn O’Driscoll announced it advised Aergo Capital (Aergo) on their acquisition of Seraph Aviation Management. As part of the transaction, Aergo will assume the management and administration of 88 aviation assets spread across 38 unique lessees with a combined asset value of $2.5 billion. The number of aircraft owned and managed by Aergo will increase to 304 aircraft (including aircraft under LOI).
