AB CarVal announces a change in leadership

As a result of Justin Bradburn's retirement announcement, AB CarVal announced changes to the management leadership. Greg Belonogoff will take over his duties and collaborate closely with the Aergo team. In addition to continuing in his position of leadership at Aergo, Fred Browne will join AB CarVal's Transportation Investment Committee. As managing principal, Lucas Detor is still in charge of AB CarVal's aviation investments.

Aegean Airlines receives an Airbus A320neo from SMBC Aviation Capital

Aegean Airlines received one Airbus A320neo aircraft, MSN 11469, powered by PW1127GA-JM engines, according to SMBC Aviation Capital. This aircraft is the sixth and last A320/A321neo unit scheduled for delivery from this sale and leaseback deal with Aegean.

Avolon delivers 100th Airbus A320neo to Cebu Pacific

Avolon announced it has completed the delivery of its 100th Airbus A320neo. The aircraft was delivered to Cebu Pacific is the second A320neo delivery under an agreement made earlier this year to lease three new A320neos. Avolon a significant order book pipeline for the A320neo family of aircraft (A320neo/A321neo), with commitments to purchase a further 184 of this aircraft type as at March 31 2023. Avolon President and Chief Commercial Officer, said “As one of the largest A320neo family aircraft customers, today’s announcement marks an important milestone in our long-standing partnership with Airbus. We are also delighted to further strengthen our relationship with Cebu Pacific, supporting both the evolution of its fleet and sustainability objectives. It is great to see our customers in Asia increasing their fleet size to meet the high demand for travel in the region.”

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) completes Sky Alps Transaction

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced it completed a transaction with Italian based Sky Alps for four DHC8-400 aircraft.
