ASL Aviation Holdings And AMETEK MRO AEM Announce New Landing Gear Partnership
ASL Aviation Holdings and AMETEK MRO AEM have announced a new agreement for the provision of landing gear services for ASL's European fleet of B737 Next Generation and Classic aircraft. Up until the end of 2026, the contract covers the provision of overhaul services and loan gear sets. ASL Aviation Holdings Head of Procurement, James George said “This agreement epitomises the desire for ASL to create strategic partnerships with suppliers of the calibre of AEM. It allows us to consolidate the overhaul activity for landing gears across our European B737 fleet and benefit from cementing a relationship with a trusted supplier in whom we have great confidence will deliver an excellent service for us.”
Griffin Global Asset Management Announces the Delivery of the First of Two Boeing 737 MAX 8 Aircraft with flydubai
Late in December, flydubai received the first of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, according to a release from Griffin Global Asset Management. This quarter, the second aircraft is anticipated to arrive. Griffin Global Asset Management Vice President of Marketing Michael Lombardi said “We are honoured today to add flydubai to a growing list of airline partners. flydubai has built a leading regional carrier and we are excited to be able to support their continued growth by financing these two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.”
Genesis delivers Airbus A320 to MYAirline
Genesis announced the delivery of an Airbus A320 aircraft on lease to MYAirline, a new Malaysian-based airline. Genesis Head of Commercial, Pat Madigan said, “Genesis is delighted to work with Stuart and the MYAirline team to deliver this latest addition to their fleet. We are proud to have completed this smooth delivery and added MYAirline as a valued customer. Genesis looks forward to supporting MYAirline’s future growth as air travel recovers in Asia”.
Nordic Aviation Capital and Star Air have signed a leasing agreement for two more Embraer 175 aircraft
Nordic Aviation Capital reported that it had signed lease agreements with Star Air for two more Embraer 175 aircraft. The airline now has a fleet of five E145 aircraft and intends to start using Embraer 175 aircraft in Q1 2023.
