AerCap Signs Lease Agreements for Ten New Airbus A320neo Aircraft and Two New Airbus A330neo Aircraft with ITA Airways
AerCap announced it has signed lease agreements for ten new Airbus A320neo aircraft and two new Airbus A330neo aircraft with ITA Airways. The aircraft are scheduled to deliver beginning in 2023 through 2024. The integration of these new aircraft is in line with the fleet plan of the Italian flag carrier. AerCap Chief Commercial Officer Peter Anderson stated “We are very pleased to expand our relationship with ITA Airways through the lease of these twelve advanced-technology Airbus A320neo and A330neo aircraft. These aircraft will enable ITA Airways to expand its network, whilst advancing its commitment to maintain an environmentally friendly, fuel-efficient fleet. We thank the team at ITA Airways for the confidence they have placed in AerCap, and we look forward to building the partnership for many years to come.”
Aergo Capital announces the acquisition of three (3) B737NGs from AerCap
Aergo Capital has acquired three Boeing 737NG aircraft from AerCap, bearing manufacturer serial number 30692, 30674 and 30705 which are subject to leases with Enter Air, LAM and Ethiopian Airlines respectively. Aergo Capital CEO Fred Browne stated “We are delighted to have successfully completed the acquisition with AerCap. With this transaction, Aergo has added two new customers to its growing portfolio. We look forward to completing many more transactions together in the future.”
Amedeo announces the appointment of Isabelle Floret to its Board of Directors
Amedeo announced the appointment of Isabelle Floret as Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board of Amedeo Limited, Ireland. Jackson Square Aviation Announces Delivery of One Airbus A320-200 Aircraft to SmartLynx Airlines
Jackson Square Aviation announced the delivery of one Airbus A320-200 aircraft to SmartLynx Airlines. Jackson Square Aviation VP Marketing Niamh Danaher said “We are delighted to welcome SmartLynx as our newest customer and we wish the airline every success with their latest A320. We are pleased to be able to support SmartLynx as it embarks on the next phase of its growth, and we look forward to developing a long-term partnership with them in the years ahead.”
SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A320neo to Spirit Airlines
SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of one (1) Airbus A320neo aircraft (MSN 10697) equipped with two (2) PW1127G-JM engines to Spirit Airlines. This is this fourth of fourteen aircraft delivering to Spirit between November 2021 and September 2022 as part of a 14x aircraft sale and leaseback transaction.
