Avolon delivers one Airbus A320Neo aircraft to LATAM Airlines Group
Avolon announced 4 December the delivery of one Airbus A320Neo aircraft to LATAM Airlines Group. This is the second Avolon aircraft on lease to LATAM Airlines Group.
Flybondi and SMBC Aviation Capital mark delivery of the airline’s first aircraft
Flybondi.com announced 5th December the delivery of its first aircraft from SMBC Aviation Capital, a B737-800. The aircraft with Manufacturers Serial number (MSN) 33821 was delivered in an all economy class configuration and is powered by CFM engines. This is SMBC Aviation Capital’s first aircraft with Flybondi.com and is also SMBC Aviation Capital’s first aircraft to deliver into the Argentinian market.
Fly Leasing reveals it has $2bn for fleet growth
The Irish Independent reported 7 December Dublin-based aircraft lessor Fly Leasing, which is headed by former Aer Lingus chairman Colm Barrington, has confirmed that it has $2bn available to expand its fleet as it eyes further jet purchases in 2018. In a presentation at the conference this week, Fly Leasing said that it has an "annual growth target of $750m" and will continue to eye opportunistic secondary market purchases.
NAC delivered one Embraer E190, MSN 19000151, to Aeroméxico Connect on lease
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 7 December the delivery of one Embraer E190, MSN 19000151, to Aeroméxico Connect on lease. This is the final aircraft to deliver as part of a four-aircraft lease deal signed in 2017.
SKY Leasing Announces Purchase And Simultaneous Lease Of One Airbus A321-211 With Vietjet
SKY Aviation Leasing International announced 29 November the ownership of a new A321-211, the first of two transactions with Vietjet. This transaction marks SKY’s 33rd closed aircraft.
SMBC Aviation Capital concludes eleven aircraft deal with South American airline, Avianca
SMBC Aviation Capital and leading South American airline, Aerovias Del Continente Americano S.A (Avianca) announced 6 December an agreement for the purchase and leaseback of eleven aircraft. The nine A320 NEO aircraft covered by this transaction are scheduled to deliver in 2018 and 2019 while the two A321 NEO’s have previously delivered in the third and fourth quarter of 2017 and bear manufacturer serial numbers MSN 7770 and MSN 7847, respectively. All eleven aircraft will be equipped with CFM International LEAP-1B engines.
