Finnair closes a sale and leaseback agreement with BBAM for one of its A350 aircraft
Finnair has finalised a sale and leaseback arrangement for one of its A350 aircraft with Nomura Babcock & Brown Co., Ltd and BBAM Aircraft Management LP as an arranger and lease servicer. In the arrangement Finnair sold the Airbus A350 aircraft delivered in June 2016 to NBB and leased the aircraft back for its own operation. The initial operating lease period is 12 years, and the lease includes extension options.
Frontier Airlines takes delivery of 11th A320neo from GECAS
GECAS 21 December delivered it’s eleventh A320 neo to Frontier via Sale-Leaseback (with commitments for an additional five in 2019). The initial delivery in October 2017 marked Frontier’s first neo and subsequent deliveries make Frontier the first operator of a Leap-powered A320neo to be delivered out of Mobile, AL. GECAS previously financed nine A321ceos with Frontier. The additional sixteen A320neo’s signify GECAS’ commitment and long-term relationship with the airline.
NAC delivered one new Embraer E190, MSN 19000759, to Azerbaijan Airlines on lease
Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced 3 January the delivery of one new Embraer E190, MSN 19000759, to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) on lease. The aircraft will be operated by Buta Airways, a low-cost subdivision of AZAL.
Rolls-Royce And Avolon Sign LifeKey Agreement
Rolls-Royce announced 7 January Avolon as a new customer for LifeKey, its pioneering asset management offering, available exclusively to its LessorCare customers. LifeKey is a central component of LessorCare, which was launched a year ago offering a single, comprehensive agreement for all Trent engine types.
SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Boeing 737-800 to ANA
SMBC Aviation Capital announced 21 December the delivery of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft (MSN 64878) equipped with CFM56-7B24E engines to ANA. This is the second of two aircraft delivered to ANA, with the first delivered on November 15 2018.
SMBC Aviation Capital delivers second of five aircraft to Wizz Air
SMBC Aviation Capital announced 21 December the delivery of one Airbus A321-200 aircraft (MSN 8625) equipped with IAE V2533-A5 engines to Wizz Air. This is the second delivery to Wizz Air of a five (5) aircraft Sale and Leaseback transaction with the remaining aircraft scheduled to deliver in the first half of 2019.
