AerCap Publishes its Fifth ESG Report
AerCap announced the publication of its fifth Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) Report, for the year ended December 31, 2021. AerCap CEO Aengus Kelly said, “As the global leader in aviation leasing, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to promote the continued decarbonization of the aviation industry. We are firmly committed to operating our business in a sustainable way and have invested over $40 billion in leading-edge aircraft technology to support our customers’ decarbonization efforts. With our ambitious goal of reaching 75% new technology by 2024, AerCap will be able to support the adoption of fuel-efficient aircraft by a wider range of customers, helping them to reduce their operating costs and emissions.”
Goshawk completes second delivery to Viva Aerobus with A320 aircraft
Goshawk announce the delivery of one Airbus A320 aircraft to Viva Aerobus. Viva Aerobus operates point-to-point services from Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City to destinations across Mexico, the USA and Cuba. The aircraft was successfully delivered on 15th June and represents the second aircraft delivery by Goshawk to Viva Aerobus, following delivery of the first last November. This additional delivery highlights the ongoing successful relationship established between the two parties.
LCI & SMFL deliver two new AW169s to Italian EMS operator Alidaunia
LCI announced the delivery of two new Leonardo AW169 helicopters from its joint venture leasing operation to the well-established Italian helicopter operator, Alidaunia. The two state-of-the-art aircraft will be based in Naples and Salerno on long term operating leases, from where Alidaunia will use them to deliver mission-critical and socially responsible Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations for the Campania region of Italy. LCI Executive Chairman Crispin Maunder said “Alidaunia is a highly experienced provider of helicopter services, and LCI is proud to be supporting their growing emergency medical services operation. With over half of our fleet deployed on mission critical operations, we have the technical and operational experience to help them deliver this vital service for the people of Campania.”
Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking closes $300 million acquisition facility for SKY Leasing
Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking announced the closing of a $300 million acquisition facility for SKY Leasing, proceeds of which will be used to facilitate the purchase of 12 off-lease 737 MAX 8 aircraft. "We are very pleased with the success of this transaction and grateful for the bank's support and innovative financing solutions," says Matthew Crawford, EVP, Head of Capital Markets at SKY. "Natixis has been a long-term strategic partner of the platform and pivotal to executing on our investment strategy."
