Irelandia Aviation launches AerDrone International Irelandia Aviation announced the establishment of a new division, AerDrone International, a platform dedicated to commercial drone leasing. AerDrone International will be based in Dublin which is now well established as a global leader in aviation finance and leasing. AerDrone International will leverage the existing leasing ecosystem in Ireland, which includes vast expertise as well as a favourable regulatory environment, to develop a global footprint and marketplace. The Gallery contributes significantly to our society and we look forward to celebrating this association with our colleagues and customers who visit Ireland from around the globe.” SMBC Aviation Capital concludes ten aircraft deal with Aeromexico SMBC Aviation Capital and Aeromexico announced 29 November an agreement for the purchase and leaseback of ten (10) Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which includes a Pre Delivery Payment facility for all ten aircraft. This transaction represents SMBC Aviation Capital’s largest ever transaction with Aeromexico and will support the airline’s transition into today’s newest generation Boeing narrowbody aircraft. The aircraft covered by this transaction are scheduled to deliver between 2018 and 2020 and will be made up of eight 737 MAX 8 aircraft and two 737 MAX 9 aircraft and will be equipped with CFM International LEAP-1B engines.
