Air India enhances IFE system with Vista

Air India recently launched its wireless inflight entertainment (IFE) service, Vista, across the existing wide-body fleet to provide customers with uninterrupted entertainment until the retrofit and will also be available on narrow-body aircraft, powered by Bluebox’s Blueview digital services platform. Air India's meticulously curated content library featuring over 950+ hours of entertainment. Air India Chief Customer Experience Officer,  Rajesh Dogra said “At Air India, we are continuously striving to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our modern travellers. We are pleased to introduce Vista, a new feature for our customers. It allows seamless integration of personal devices, enhancing the overall travel experience for our customers.”

 

BLR Airport receives ACI’s Level 5 Accreditation

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR Airport) announced it has marked a significant milestone by becoming the first airport in Asia to receive Airports Council International's (ACI) highest Level 5 accreditation. BLR Airport has made a remarkable 95.6% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, attaining the highest emission elimination by an Indian airport, achieved seven years ahead of the initial target of 2030. Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) Managing Director and CEO Hari Marar said, "We are delighted to be the first airport in Asia to attain ACI’s Level 5 accreditation and to lead the way with the highest emission elimination by an Indian airport. Achieving Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions seven years ahead of our target is a testament to BLR Airport’s unwavering commitment to sustainability. This accomplishment not only sets a new benchmark for us but also reinforces our dedication to creating a greener future for all."

 

IndiGo connects Bengaluru to Jeddah from 30 September

IndiGo announced the launch of daily direct flights connecting Bengaluru to Jeddah commencing 30 September. The route will bolster the growing trade relations between India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), for business, leisure, as well as religious travel.
