AerCap and the TCPID announce new partnership
The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities announced a new partnership with Dublin based aircraft lessor, AerCap. To launch the new partnership, AerCap welcomed 1st year students from the TCPID to AerCap House on St. Stephen's Green for a workshop on Tuesday May 14th. AerCap Head of Human Resources, Theresa Murray, said “We are delighted to become a Business Partner of the Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities and support the TCPID’s vital work in creating greater career opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. At AerCap, we strive to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcomed, supported and valued, irrespective of their circumstances. We look forward to supporting TCPID and their students.”
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF ) Acquires 737-800 From Airborne Capital
Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) announced the acquisition of Boeing 737-8AL (MSN 36548), an aircraft serviced by Airborne Capital. Aircraft Engine Lease Finance (AELF) has been on a campaign to acquire Boeing 737-800s in recent months. The company recently announced that it secured a $40 million credit facility, aimed at fleet growth with this asset type. AELF’s Head of Global Marketing, Joe Cirillo said “Airborne Capital has been a great counterparty, and we appreciate having had the opportunity to transact with their team. This aircraft is a welcome addition to our fleet and is right in line with our strategic objectives of expanding our presence in the 737-800 market.”
Milestone Signs AW139 Sale and Leaseback Agreements with Lufttransport
The Milestone Aviation Group announced that it has signed purchase assignment and leaseback agreements for three new Leonardo AW139 helicopters for delivery in 2025 with Norwegian helicopter operator Lufttransport RW AS. Milestone Aviation Group Chief Commercial Officer, Sébastien Moulin said, “We are delighted to support the expansion of Lufttransport’s fleet through this agreement. Milestone continues to support the growth of the offshore helicopter industry by financing both new and used aircraft. We remain committed to offering our customers tailored solutions that meet their needs and supporting the strong demand for lift.”
