Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) leases ATR 72-600s to Silk Avia

Azorra Increases Embraer E195-E2 order book

Azorra announced it agreed to exercise its purchase rights to acquire an additional 15 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. This increases Azorra’s total orderbook with Embraer to 35 aircraft, with incremental purchase rights under its existing agreements with Embraer. Azorra President Ron Baur said “This decision to exercise purchase rights is a testament to the rising popularity of the E2 program. With the recent additions of Royal Jordanian, Scoot and SKS Airways to our E2 customer list, as well as the interest we’re seeing from the market, exercising purchase rights was a logical decision. We continue to see a bright future for the E2 family and thank Embraer for their continued partnership.”

Avolon orders 40 Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft

Avolon announced an order for Boeing 40 737 Aircraft at Paris Air Show. Avolon CEO Andy Cronin said “Today's announcement reaffirms our long-standing partnership with Boeing and our support for their 737 MAX program. We are confident in the long-term demand from our customers for the 737 MAX, and this order extends our delivery pipeline out to 2030.The transitioning of the global fleet to more fuel-efficient new-technology aircraft is a priority for our industry, and we are looking to play a leading role by supporting airlines achieving their sustainability objectives."

First Airbus A320NEO Delivered by Clover Aviation to Cebu Pacific

Clover Aviation Capital announced the delivery of an Airbus A320neo to new client Cebu Pacific the OEM’s Delivery Centre in Tianjin, China. The delivery is part of a multi-aircraft sale and leaseback transaction between Clover and Cebu Pacific. Clover Aviation Capital President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Ye Tian said “We are most delighted to have delivered our first A320NEO to Cebu Pacific, and believe this marks the beginning of a long and successful relationship between our two companies. The cutting-edge aircraft we have placed with our friends at Cebu Pacific today will form a dependable part of their growing fleet for the foreseeable future. This occasion is made even more notable by being our lessee’s first aircraft delivery from the Airbus FAL facility in Tianjin, China.”

20th 737-800BCF completed by GAMECO for Genesis

Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company Limited (GAMECO) announced the completion of its 20th Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighter (BCF) for Dublin based aircraft lessor Genesis. Genesis CEO Karl Griffin said “Just over a year ago, we partnered with Boeing to bring much-needed air cargo capability to our customers and opted to extend the life of existing airplanes in the Genesis portfolio. Genesis’ first 737-800BCF is already serving global eCommerce markets, and we look forward to delivering this second 737-800BCF to its next airline customer.”

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) announced it has executed a lease agreement for two ATR 72-600s with Uzbekistan regional carrier Silk Avia.
