Nordic Aviation Capital to enter EVTOL market
Nordic Aviation Capital and Eve Air Mobility announced signature of Letter of Intent (LOI) to promote the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft through optimized leasing strategies. The LOI establishes that Eve will have the opportunity to leverage Nordic Aviation Capital’s global presence and asset management knowledge while NAC will acquire 15 firm plus 15 optional eVTOLs that will be leased to fleet operators. NAC President & CEO Norman C.T. Liu said “We are pleased to have signed this LOI with Eve. This is an important step in our ESG strategy, and we look forward to partnering with Eve to bring these innovative and sustainable solutions to market.”
High Ridge Aviation (HRA) first Airbus A320neo delivered to IndiGo
Dublin based aircraft lessor High Ridge Aviation announced delivery of its first new Airbus A320neo aircraft to IndiGo (msn 11613). This is the first to be delivered to IndiGo, as part of a five A320 Neo aircraft operating lease transaction, with remaining four aircraft are expected for delivery by year end. High Ridge Aviation CEO Greg Conlon said “This is an exciting milestone for High Ridge Aviation. We’re grateful to the team at IndiGo, and extremely honoured to be building our portfolio with such a preeminent operator.”
Greater Bay Airlines leases Boeing 737-800 from SMBC Aviation Capital
SMBC Aviation Capital announced the delivery of Boeing B737-800 aircraft (MSN 39943) powered by two CFM56-7B engines to Greater Bay Airlines.
TrueNoord appoints new Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
TrueNoord announced the appointment of Paul Murphy, in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Paul will be responsible for fiscal reporting & analysis, tax, treasury operations and corporate finance operations. Virgin Australia leases Boeing 737-800 from Aergo
Aergo Capital announced the acquisition of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft (MSN 40698), from SMBC Aviation Capital, acting on behalf of a Japanese seller, with a lease attached to Virgin Australia. Aergo CEO Fred Browne said “We are pleased to announce the successful acquisition of this B737-800 with a lease attached to Virgin Australia. We would like to extend our gratitude to SMBC Aviation Capital for their collaboration and professionalism throughout the acquisition process. We are excited to add an airline of Virgin Australia’s calibre to our portfolio and we look forward to furthering our relationship with both SMBC Aviation Capital and Virgin Australia.”
