Delta and LATAM Airlines to form the leading airline partnership throughout the Americas Delta and LATAM Airlines Group S.A announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership that for the first time combines the strengths of the leading airlines in North and Latin America. The strategic partnership will unlock new growth opportunities, building upon Delta’s and LATAM’s global footprint and joint ventures worldwide, including Delta’s existing partnership with Aeroméxico. “This transformative partnership with LATAM will bring together our leading global brands, enabling us to provide the very best service and reliability for travelers to, from and throughout the Americas,” said Ed Bastian, Delta’s chief executive officer. “Our people, customers, owners and communities will all benefit from this exciting platform for future growth.” GOL Airlines on Delta Partnership Delta has been terrific partner of GOL and we wish them well. We valued our partnership with Delta, and are gratified to see its continuing confidence in the Latin American aviation market.  The phase out of this codeshare and investment in our non-voting shares is not expected to have a significant financial impact to GOL as the current relationship provided approximately 0.3% of GOL's total revenues Jackson Square Aviation Announces Delivery of One New Airbus A320neo Aircraft to Spirit Airlines Jackson Square Aviation (JSA) announced 26 September the delivery of one new Airbus A320NEO aircraft to Spirit Airlines. This is the first of six new Airbus A320NEO aircraft JSA has committed to lease to Spirit Airlines. Renowned aircraft manufacturer De Havilland Canada joins ERA Longview Aviation Capital reintroduced De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (De Havilland Canada) with its acquisition of the Dash 8 aircraft programme, re-uniting the entire De Havilland product line under the same banner for the first time in decades. De Havilland Aircraft of Canada’s Chief Operating Officer, Todd Young, adds: “It is important for De Havilland Canada to be present and engaged with ERA to help shape the future of our industry. At last count, eight ERA airline members operate more than 100 Dash 8 aircraft and these are supported by a network of associate member suppliers whose success relies on the efficient operation of our aircraft type. By partnering with these companies within ERA, we can help shape a successful and sustainable future for our customers and for our products StandardAero Delivers First GE90-115 Fan Case Module from Cincinnati Component Repair Facility StandardAero Component Services, has shipped its first GE90-115 engine fan case module (FCM) unit for one of its airline customers.  The GE90-115 FCM is one of the largest aircraft engine components in the industry and the GE90-115 is one of the world’s largest jet engines, powering Boeing 777 aircraft. StandardAero then performed 100% of all the disassembly, inspections, repairs and assembly and shipped its first GE90-115 FCM 15 days ahead of the customer-requested date. Sunwing partners with Swoop to offer customers even more travel options this winter Sunwing, and ultra-low-cost airline, Swoop have signed a new agreement with new airports added Hamilton, London, Abbotsford, Edmonton and Winnipeg where clients can book vacation packages with the tour operator that include a Swoop flight.
