AAR to acquires nine Boeing 757-200 aircraft

AAR announced its subsidiary AAR Supply Chain will acquire nine Boeing 757-200 passenger aircraft equipped with 18 Rolls-Royce RB211 engines from American Airlines.

Frontier Airlines leases Airbus A321neo from ACG

Aviation Capital Group announced the delivery of one new Airbus A321neo aircraft on long-term lease to Frontier Airlines. Powered by the ultra-efficient Pratt & Whitney GTF engines, this is the second of seven A321neo aircraft scheduled to deliver to the airline from ACG’s order book with Airbus.

EVA Air orders five Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners

Boeing and EVA Air finalized an order for five additional 787-9 Dreamliners, The carrier’s follow-on investment in the 787 will enable the airline to further reduce carbon emissions and sustainably grow its fleet. The carrier operates a fleet of 10 787s, including four 787-9s and six 787-10s.

GE Aerospace’s GEnx powers first 787 to India using SAF

GE Aerospace’s GEnx aircraft engines powered the industry’s first wide-body aircraft on a long-haul route using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to India. Vistara operated the Boeing 787-9 deliveryy flight from Charleston to New Delhi, using a blend of 30% SAF with conventional jet fuel. General Manager of the GEnx Engine Program for GE Aerospace Dave Kircher, said  “GE Aerospace is committed to helping our customers reduce emissions with advanced, more efficient propulsion technologies like the GEnx engine. Collaborations like this, that bring a long-haul flight using SAF for the first time to India, show what solutions are possible on a global scale towards the aviation industry’s net zero ambitions.”
