Phoenix Aviation Capital Boeing 787-9 Aircraft on Lease to American Airlines
AIR Marshall Islands orders two Cessna SkyCourier aircraft
Textron Aviation announced a two-aircraft purchase agreement with AIR Marshall Islands Inc. (AMI) for its twin-engine, large-utility turboprop, the Cessna SkyCourier. The two aircraft will be used to support travel throughout the communities within the Marshall Islands. AIR Marshall Islands general manager & CEO Captain Albon Jelke, said "AIR Marshall Islands is thrilled to add the Cessna SkyCourier to our fleet. This exciting development is a major milestone in our efforts to modernize our aircraft, allowing us to provide more reliable and efficient flights across the Marshall Islands. Our new SkyCouriers are perfectly designed to reach the remote atolls and islands, ensuring that essential air services are accessible to both our local communities and visitors."
Breeze Airways leases three Airbus A220-300 aircraft from SMBC Aviation Capital
SMBC Aviation Capital has announced that it has signed lease agreements with Breeze Airways for three Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The first two aircraft are scheduled to deliver in November and December 2024, with the last aircraft due to deliver in early 2025. Breeze Airways’ Founder and CEO David Neeleman, stated “As we continue to rapidly expand our presence across the United States, our growing Airbus A220-300 fleet has allowed us to serve more Guests and bring our Seriously Nice™ product to more communities. SMBC Aviation Capital is a great partner as we look for more ways to support our continued growth.”
CAMEX Airlines leases Boeing 767-300 Freighter from ATSG
Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) announced today that its subsidiary Airborne Global Leasing has delivered a Boeing 767-300 converted freighter under a long-term lease agreement with Tbilisi-based CAMEX Airlines. ATSG expects to deliver a second Boeing 767-300 to CAMEX in 2025 under a separate lease agreement. ATSG Chief Commercial Officer, Todd France stated “ATSG is pleased to partner with CAMEX to expand air cargo options in the markets it serves. The delivery of this freighter brings our total number of externally leased aircraft around the world to 90 and further demonstrates the attractiveness of our Lease+Plus package, through which we can supply our customers with access to multiple services that complement the lease.”
Phoenix Aviation Capital Boeing 787-9 Aircraft on Lease to American Airlines
Phoenix Aviation Capital and AIP Capital, announced the acquisition of one Boeing 787-9 aircraft (msn 40646) , powered by GEnx engines on long-term lease with American Airlines from ORIX Aviation. This is the first transaction between Phoenix and AIP Capital with ORIX. AIP Capital Managing Partner, Mathew Adamo said “We are pleased to have concluded this inaugural transaction with ORIX Aviation. We appreciate ORIX’s professional manner and collaboration throughout this transaction, and we look forward to building upon this successful partnership in the future.”
