Vietnam Airlines to induct Airbus A350-900 on Delhi route
Boeing Collaborates with AIESL
Boeing and AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) have agreed to work together to enhance aircraft maintenance training in India. Under the agreement AIESL will provide infrastructure and instructors, while securing Civil Aviation Regulation (CAR)147 approval from the Indian regulatory authority to conduct maintenance training for customers. Boeing will provide training materials, aids, and instructor support to help ensure standardization of AIESL training programs. India will require almost 33,000 pilots and 34,000 maintenance technicians through 2042, according to Boeing's 2023 Pilot and Technician Outlook. The Boeing – AIESL collaboration will be the latest initiative under the Boeing India Repair Development and Sustainment (BIRDS) hub program.
Fly91 inaugural flight takes off
Inida Union Minister for Civil Aviation and Steel, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurated Fly91, a regional airline and flagged off its maidan flight between Manohar International Airport (MOPA), Goa and Agatti Islands, Lakshadweep. Fly91 will commence scheduled flights from 18 March 2024, between Manohar International Airport, Goa and Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jalgaon, Agatti, Pune, Nanded and from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune to Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Nanded and Goa, in a phased basis.
IndiGo connects Chandigarh and Dharamshala
IndiGo has announced a new route between Chandigarh and Dharamshala commencing 9th April operating three times weekly. IndiGo Head of Global Sales, Vinay Malhotra said, “We are pleased to announce the launch of direct flights between Chandigarh and Dharamshala, which will significantly reduce the travel time between the two cities with added convenience. These new flights would also offer customers from Dharamshala easy accessibility to key national and international destinations via Chandigarh.”

Vietnam Airlines announced the introduction of the cutting-edge Airbus A350 from New Delhi to Vietnam thereby strategically bolstering its presence in one of the world's fastest-growing international markets.
