BOC Aviation Places Three Boeing 737-8 Aircraft With LOT Polish Airlines
BOC Aviation announced the placement of three Boeing 737-8 aircraft with LOT Polish Airlines powered by CFM LEAP-1B engines, scheduled for delivery in 2025. BOC Aviation CEO & Managing Director Steven Townend, said “We are delighted to welcome LOT, Poland’s flag carrier and one of the most recognisable Polish brands, to our customer base. As a global lessor, we are constantly building relationships with airline customers around the world and diversifying our lessee network. These aircraft will support the LOT growth strategy with one of the world’s most popular and fuel-efficient single-aisle jets.”
CDB Aviation Closes $700 Million Loan Aircraft Portfolio Financing
CDB Aviation announced that the lessor entered into a $700 million facility agreement secured with a portfolio of Airbus and Boeing narrowbody and widebody aircraft on lease to various of the lessor’s airline customers. CDB Aviation CEO Jie Chen said “This facility marks a significant achievement in our platform’s fundraising journey that was only possible because of the strong support from everyone involved, building on our platform’s robust ability to engage global financial institutions, the strong competencies and efforts of our entire team, and the unwavering support of our shareholder.”
Rolls-Royce wins engine order from Cathay Pacific
Rolls-Royce announces Cathay Pacific has agreed to place an order for 60 Trent 7000 engines that will power 30 Airbus A330-900 aircraft. In tandem the airline signed a TotalCare service agreement that will cover the fleet. Cathay Pacific Chief Operations and Service Delivery Officer Alex McGowan said “We are delighted to announce this order for 30 Trent 7000 powered A330-900 which will be a natural replacement for our A330ceo aircraft. The Trent 7000/A330neo combination will provide excellent comfort for our passengers as well as improved fuel efficiency to help us achieve our sustainability goals.”
SF Airlines connects Budapest and Urumqi Diwopu International
SF Airlines launched a new cargo route connecting Budapest and Urumqi Diwopu International operating up to twice weekly, using Boeing 767-300F aircraft. SF Airlines in an statement said “It is planned to operate 1-2 flights per week, mainly serving cross-border e-commerce express delivery business, the export of Xinjiang’s specialty agricultural products, and the import of specialty products from European countries such as Hungary.”
