AerDragon Delivers Airbus A330-900 to Cebu Pacific
AerDragon announced as part of the purchase agreement with JLPS Ireland announced previously, it acquired and delivered one Airbus A330-900 aircraft on lease to Philippines based Cebu Pacific. AerDragon CEO Gang Li, said “We are delighted to welcome Cebu Pacific to AerDragon’s growing list of customers and, with the A330-900, to support Cebu Pacific’ sustainability and eco-friendly commitment. We look forward to building a long-lasting partnership with each other.”
BOC Aviation Delivers First Boeing 737-8 MAX to Lynx Airlines
BOC Aviation announced the delivery of the first of eleven Boeing 737-8 MAX to Lynx Airlines to Canadian carrier Lynx Airlines. BOC Aviation CEO Robert Martin, said “We are delighted to welcome Lynx as a new customer. This delivery will enable the airline to serve its customers with one of the most fuel-efficient and technologically advanced aircraft flying today.”
European Cargo connects Bournemouth and Chengdu
European Cargo launched a new route between Bournemouth and Chengdu operating three times weekly using Airbus A340-600 aircraft, in partnership with Shenzhen Sharing Express Logistic-Tech Ltd (SSELT) to tap growing e-commerce market and UK exporters. Bournemouth Airport managing director Steve Gill, said "We’re delighted that Cargo First is part of this strategic partnership with SSELT and European Cargo, offering a fast and efficient route for cross border e-commerce into the UK. Together we can save customers a lot of time in a time-sensitive market."
First Airbus A321NX delivered to Volaris by CDB Aviation
CDB Aviation, announced the delivery of the first of two Airbus A321neo aircraft fitted with Airbus’ Cabin Flex to Volaris. The carrier is expected to take delivery of the second A321NX by the end of 2023, with an additional three A321neos and two A320neos slated for delivery throughout 2023 and 2024. CDB Aviation’s Head of Commercial, Americas, Luís da Silva, said “With the latest technologies that improve efficiency and sustainability, this aircraft is ideally suited to expand the reach of Volaris’ market-dominant domestic brand to markets in North and Latin America.
Magma Aviation taps into growing Chinese market
Magma Aviation announced exapnison into the Chinese market launching a new route between Liege and Nanchang Changbei International Airport, operating four times weekly using Boeing 747-400F aircraft. Magma Aviation Head of Network Planning & Alliances Paul Hoatson said, “Magma Aviation is delighted to serve more customers by starting our first regular flights into China. By opening China, Magma Aviation now operates 29 dedicated flights per week on behalf of our customers across the USA, Africa, Asia and Europe.”
