China Southern Airlines selects APG as GSA in Serbia

China Southern Airlines announced it has selected APG as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Serbia. The airline operates Guangzhou to Belgrade twice weekly. APG will provide a suite of services including sales, marketing, and reservations support, facilitating access to China Southern Airlines’ extensive network and seamless connections. APG Network President Richard Burgess, said “We are honoured to represent China Southern Airlines as its GSA in Serbia, and we value our long-standing partnership with them and look forward to continued success together. Our team in Serbia is dedicated to providing exceptional sales, marketing, and customer support to drive the success of China Southern Airlines in this region.”

 

Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Hong Kong and Macao sign Closer Co-operation on Airworthiness Certification

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the Civil Aviation Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (CAD) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Macao Special Administrative Region (AACM) signed a Co-operation Arrangement on Joint Operation Management (Co-operation Arrangement) and an Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding on Closer Co-operation on Airworthiness Certification (Amendment to MOU) in Macao with the aim of expanding co-operation in the areas of operational and airworthiness certification among the three parties, and further promoting aviation safety and operational efficiency. The Director-General of the CAD, Mr Victor Liu, said, "The signing of the Co-operation Arrangement and Amendment to MOU can deepen the level of co-operation among the three authorities and promote the development of the aviation industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It can also facilitate Hong Kong to seize the important opportunities brought by the National 14th Five-Year Plan and consolidate Hong Kong's status as an international aviation hub."

 

PK AirFinance Arranges and Funds Scaled Portfolio Facility for CALC

PK AirFinance announced the arrangement and funding of a $550 million loan facility with China Aircraft Leasing Group sidecar platform, China Aircraft Global (“CAG”). The portfolio is secured by 21 narrowbody and 2 widebody aircraft. The collateral pool is diversified among 15 different airline operators. CALC Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer Mr. Conrad Li, said, “CALC as the General Partner and Servicer of CAG, is thrilled to partner with PK AirFinance on this significant transaction to finance a portfolio of mid-life aircraft on a non-recourse basis. The PK team has demonstrated their professionalism in completing this transaction in a short timeframe with a customized, structured facility. This collaboration also underscores CALC’s commitment to deliver flexible and comprehensive financing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our investor partners and airline customers, while demonstrating our ability to support CALC’s expansion by meeting institutional investors’ strong demand for quality aircraft leasing assets with stable and long-term cash flow.”
